To protect our customers, WowTickets performs regular security and anti-fraud checks on all bookings.
If a booking or payment shows signs of unusual or suspicious activity, association with a government-sanctioned person or entity, or potential fraud or abuse, we may request additional information.
This may include, for example, a letter of authorization from the cardholder or a copy of the cardholder’s ID or passport.
Anti-fraud verification
If your payment triggers a security concern, we will contact you and request additional information to verify the transaction.
The request will be sent from an official email address on the wowtickets.com domain.
The email will be branded in WowTickets’ official style and will clearly reference your booking or order number.
It is important to respond to this request promptly.
If we do not receive the required information, your order may be cancelled for security reasons.
Actions we may take
If we reasonably conclude that a booking or account is associated with fraud, abuse, a sanctioned person or entity, or other suspicious activity, we may:
cancel any bookings associated with your name, email address, or account
close related accounts
take legal action if necessary, including seeking compensation for any losses
Our goal is to ensure the safety of all customers and to comply with international security and anti-fraud regulations.
